Harlem Pimps & Japanese Dolls by illustrator Eirian Chapman

From a Harlem pimp to an Arabian princess to Japanese paper dolls, Australian artist Eirian Chapman explores her multicultural subjects through her own unique illustrative style. She relies on shapes, simple and complex, to abstractly portray her figures. These characters might be masked ladies, flesh-peddlers, or anglerfish, but no matter what,  everyone is quite fashionable and filled with fascinating textures and vivid colors. When Chapman combines these elements with cultural influences, she creates a collection of people with exotic allure.
