These portraits, by a Melbourne artist who works under the name The Black Math, are evocative, erotic, and some of the subjects even looked possessed. Tribal geometric patterns are painted on their faces and bodies in black and white, usually juxtaposed with a bright color, either from the background or makeup from one of the subject’s faces.
