These portraits, by a Melbourne artist who works under the name The Black Math, are evocative, erotic, and some of the subjects even looked possessed. Tribal geometric patterns are painted on their faces and bodies in black and white, usually juxtaposed with a bright color, either from the background or makeup from one of the subject’s faces.

If you like the look of black paint or ink on photographs, you should check out the work of Alana Dee Haynes, who was previously featured on Minimo Graph. Her style, while similar, clothes naked figures with black-inked cells.
