Atype is a project by Lobulo Design, intended to explore the possibilities of transforming a flat two-dimensional letter in various three-dimensional forms. It has a DIY feel, but not crafty. It’s incredibly crisp with the bright colors contrasting against the dark background. The textures and shading make it hard to believe these aren’t digital. He does a lot of work with paper, in style that mixes origami with polygonal models.
