ÉVASIF is an illustrated book by Fanny Roy, created for Delicatezine, a collaborative project about food by graphic design students at Université du Québec à Montréal. Through a variety of patterns—marbled paper, stripes, noodles, mazes, falling drops, dots, and squiggly lines—Roy creates still lifes of lemons, pears, oranges, grapefruits and apples. A DJ, some pottery and a set of floating severed hands are in there as well. It’s a beautifully cohesive book, with similar blues, soft reds, and golds repeated throughout.
