Polystrukts is a series of exploratory polygonal sculptures by Belgian artist, Jean-Michel Verbeeck. With Cinema 4D and V-RAY, he juxtaposed plastic, wood, and marble textures on 3D models. Like an exercise in possibilities, Verbeeck used the same colors and textures to create four distinct designs, in which the lighting highlights the dissimilarities between the shapes and arrangements.

Check out another one of Verbeeck’s 3D series, Weird Places, which was previously featured on this blog.
